A trip out of La Conner revealed many different and diverse wildlife that inhabits the Pacific Northwest. Many birds, like Bald Eagles, Rhino Auklets, Great Blue Herons, and many other bird species were seen throughout the trip. Additionally, the first whale of the trip was a Grey Whale, feeding by the banks of Puget Sound. After that, we headed out in the Juan De Fuca Straight, were a giant feeding frenzy of gulls, auklets, and 3-5 Minki Whales were feasting on schools of fish. Finally, we ended to the trip with a stop at a buoy, where a very large Stellar Sea Lion was resting inside. What a trip!
